What is The Magic Sock podcast?
The Magic Sock is a weekly audio podcast in which I discuss all things Magic: The Gathering related. No matter if it's the Highlander, Extended, Standard or sealed formats or the latest news and rumors about the world's best fantasy trading card game (TCG), I talk about it. The show is a good mix between casual Magic with occasional discussion of the best decks on the Pro Tour. So download the show, listen and have fun!

I said "after the match" so that whole spiel about not helping your opponent win the game was a waste of time. My criticism was just that a pre-release is a casual tournament with a lot of new players and is a good place to draw people more into the game and especially into organized play. It's a good opportunity for more experienced players to talk to less experienced ones and show them that Magic has a friendly and welcoming community. Since you mentioned that you thought your opponent didn't understand how planeswalkers worked, I thought it would be worth mentioning to him after the match (not during the match).
I like listening to your podcast and have donated three or four times in the past. Supporting your podcast off listener donations requires a community of players willing to give back to the game. The way you related the story of the match made it sound you missed the chance to give back a little. The contrast was what struck me.
